Lake Prince at Home in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position. You will provide compassionate personal care to hospice patients under RN supervision and collaborate with families to support comfort and dignity at end of life.

Qualified applicants hold a Virginia CNA certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Hospice or home health experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to patient homes throughout the service area.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach to caring for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to hospice team.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Follow established hospice care plans and nursing instructions.
• Support family members and caregivers with compassionate communication and care.
• Maintain regular communication with RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
