Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Richmond, VA is seeking a Hospice CNA to support patients in Richmond and surrounding counties. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with activities of daily living, plan meals, and monitor skin integrity, reporting changes to the Case Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be a state-certified nurse aide (CNA).
• CPR certification current and in good standing.
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record.

Responsibilities

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping.
• Assisting in feeding the patient.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue.
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.

What You’ll Do:
