Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a Clinical Supervisor in the Snohomish Everett area. The role oversees care coordination, assigns hospice personnel, and collaborates with Medical Directors to ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate hospice services.

Ideal candidates will have an RN license, two years of supervisory experience in hospice settings, and strong communication skills. A valid driver’s license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in hospice home care.
• Enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and families.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive case referrals and review patient information to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign appropriate hospice personnel to referrals as needed.
• Consult with Medical Director and Attending Physician regarding patient eligibility for services.
• Review and evaluate cases via home visits, conferences, records review and clinician services.
• Review patient diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures and clinical course.
• Guide clinicians to improve performance and delivery of quality home care services.
• Assist in staff recruitment, orientation, and ongoing education programs.
• Contribute to policy development and organizational goals within the QAPI program.
