Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to ensure high-quality hospice/home care services in Snohomish County. The role involves coordinating clinical staff, reviewing referrals, and collaborating with the Medical Director to determine patient eligibility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with a focus on compassionate, patient- and family-centered care in Everett, WA. Requires RN licensure, supervisory experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• A Registered Nurse license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in hospice home care.
• Enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and their families.
• Understanding of the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive case referrals and review available patient information related to the case, including home visits, to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign appropriate hospice personnel to referral case as needed.
• Confer with Medical Director and Attending Physician regarding any questions as to an individual’s eligibility for services.
• Review and evaluate each case through a variety of means such as home visits, conferences, records review, and the services provided by clinicians.
• Assess the health needs of the community and assist in the development of plan(s)/program(s) to meet needs.
• Participate in public relations and community activities that promote the organization’s role in hospice care.
