Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead and supervise clinical staff delivering hospice care. You will coordinate case assignments, collaborate with physicians, and guide clinicians to ensure compassionate, compliant, and high-quality home hospice services.

The role requires an active RN license, 2+ years in hospice/home care management, CPR certification, and strong communication. On-site Tucson, AZ, with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Registered Nurse license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state.
• Must have previous experience in a hospice home care setting with two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Enthusiasm for providing compassionate patient care to patients and families.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive case referrals and review patient information to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign hospice personnel to referral cases as needed.
• Consult with Medical Director/Attending Physician on eligibility and care plans.
• Review cases through home visits, records, and clinical services.
• Instruct and guide clinicians to improve performance and quality of care.
• Be available during operating hours to assist clinicians as appropriate.
• Assist in screening and interviewing potential employees.
• Support orientation of new staff and ongoing education programs.
• Contribute to policy planning and evaluation under the Director of Patient Care Services.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities per the QAPI program.
