Job summary

American River Hospice Services, part of American River Healthcare, seeks a Hospice Clinical Supervisor to lead the clinical team in the greater Sacramento area. You will coordinate patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold quality standards in our hospice services.

The role requires an RN with CA licensure, a Bachelor's degree in nursing (Master's preferred), and at least 3 years in hospice care with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's preferred.
• RN license in California.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospice care.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong familiarity with hospice regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate patient care services within the hospice program of American River Hospice Services.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Perform regular audits and assessments to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of clinical staff.
• Offer educational programs and resources to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
