Qualifications
- MDiv or equivalent theological degree required.
- Experience working with death, dying individuals and their families.
- Comfort in interfaith settings and acceptance of diverse beliefs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families.
- Collaborate with community clergy and spiritual counselors.
- Maintain accurate spiritual care service records.
- Attend team meetings and offer spiritual care expertise.
- Recruit and supervise spiritual care volunteers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
