Interim HealthCare Inc. is expanding its hospice services in the Houston metro area and seeks a compassionate Chaplain to support patients and families during challenging times.

The role begins as PRN/part-time with potential to transition to full-time as the service line grows, working within an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic spiritual care. Qualifications

• Endorsement by a recognized religious/spiritual body is required.
• Experience in hospice or healthcare chaplaincy.
• Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills.
• Understanding of and sensitivity to diverse patient populations and belief systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support and counseling to patients and their families.
• Conduct spiritual assessments of patients and implement care plans.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Facilitate religious or spiritual rituals as requested by patients.
• Offer crisis intervention and bereavement support.
• Participate in development and delivery of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding spiritual care.
• Participate in biweekly interdisciplinary team meetings.
