Moments Hospice in Davenport, IA seeks a Chaplain to deliver compassionate spiritual care to patients and families navigating end-of-life journeys. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care that respects diverse beliefs and values.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in divinity (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree is required.
• Experience with death, dying individuals, and their families is expected.
• Comfort in interfaith settings and ability to accept diverse beliefs is required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families.
• Collaborate with community clergy and spiritual counselors.
• Maintain accurate spiritual care service records.
• Attend team meetings and offer spiritual care expertise.
• Recruit and supervise spiritual care volunteers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
