Qualifications

• Master's degree from accredited theological school/seminary.
• 1–4 units in Clinical Pastoral Education from a nationally recognized provider.
• Two years of ministerial experience.
• Appropriate endorsement within denomination (ordination).
• Experience in death and loss issues.
• Current Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate spiritual services for patients and families.
• Provide grief and bereavement counseling to families.
• Consult and support other hospice team members and community clergy.
• Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team conferences for residents of healthcare centers.
• Maintain on-call chaplaincy coverage as needed.
