Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Spiritual Care Counselor to provide spiritual support to hospice patients, caregivers, and families across multiple IPUs in Florida. The role requires a Master’s in Divinity and 3+ years of related experience, with SDA employment preferred.

The position involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting care plans, and participating in bereavement activities. Travel to Kissimmee IPU or home/facilities teams may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Divinity or related field (required).
• 3+ years related experience and/or training (required).
• Employed by Seventh Day Adventist Conference is required; equivalent can be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual support and counseling to hospice patients, caregivers and families.
• Clarify spiritual welfare and concerns for patients and families.
• Design and oversee pastoral care plans and bereavement calls.
