Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a chaplain to provide in-home spiritual care to terminally ill patients and their families. You will assess spiritual needs and offer counseling while coordinating visits with clergy or spiritual counselors as needed.

The role requires participating as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group/Team (IDG/IDT) and maintaining a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule with occasional on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity preferred; college degree preferred.
• Chaplain experience in a health care setting (1 year) preferred.
• Working knowledge of community spiritual resources; good interpersonal skills.

Position Summary

Makes reasonable efforts to facilitate visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors or other individuals who can support the patient’s spiritual needs. Participates as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group/Team (IDG/IDT). Schedule is Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with occasional on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• In good standing with denomination or religious affiliation College degree preferred; Master of Divinity preferred
• Experience in a spiritual or religious organization. One (1) year experience as a Chaplain in a health care institution preferred.
• Working knowledge of community spiritual resources. Good interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation. Valid driver’s license auto liability insurance.
