Position Details

• Territory: Camden, TN and surrounding counties
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or theology school, or a certificate of ordination/commission from a religious faith group; Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) preferred
• Previous hospice experience working with death and dying strongly preferred
• Comfortable in an interfaith setting, accepting different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required

Responsibilities

• Perform spiritual bereavement assessments and ensure needs are addressed in the patient’s care plan
• Provide spiritual care and bereavement counseling to patients and families
• Deliver exceptional service, assisting team members to maintain high standards
• Document patient services accurately and timely
• Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary coordination
• Offer consultation, education, and support on spiritual and bereavement issues
• Participate in on-call duties and Continuous Care as needed
• Supervise spiritual care volunteers when assigned
• Develop and implement bereavement care plans, providing services for up to one year post-death
