Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. The role involves providing personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

The position requires a CNA license, Nurse aide training, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. One year of hospice or nursing assistant experience is preferred, along with reliable transportation and a commitment to patient comfort

Qualifications

• Nurse aide training/competency program completed and in good standing.

• Must have current driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
• At least 1 year of experience as Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving.

POSITION SUMMARY: Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Has successfully completed Nurse aide training/competency program approved by the state and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry; or State Licensure program that meets requirements
• Must have CNA license
• Must have current driver’s
• At least one year experience, preferred, as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
• Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
