Job summary

Everwind Hospice in Wyoming is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to provide essential personal care and support to patients in their homes or facility settings, under RN supervision, to promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life at the end of life.

You will assist with daily activities, offer companionship, monitor changes in condition, document care per agency guidelines, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment while prioritizing comfort over cure.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Wyoming.
• Minimum 1 year of CNA, hospice, or palliative care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with empathy, patience and respect for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the hospice team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Document care provided in accordance with agency procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort rather than cure.

Position Summary:
