Job summary

Suncrest Hospice is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care for hospice patients under the Nursing Leadership Team. You will collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aides to meet patient needs and promote comfort and dignity.

You will follow company policies and infection-control practices, document changes, and travel as needed with reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in state(s) of practice.
• Compassion and commitment to improving patients' quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the Nursing Leadership Team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed to improving patients' quality of life
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers, and Aide Leadership
• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team
• Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of practice
• Eagerness to pursue additional certifications, education, and career growth opportunities
