Responsibilities of a Hospice Aide / CNA
- Report directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager and work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, safe ambulation, and light housekeeping.
- Prepare and serve light meals, assist with feeding, and support mental and emotional well-being.
- Document care provided accurately and participate in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications - About You
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic to patients and families.
- Comfortable providing care in a home setting.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Six months of relevant patient care experience preferred.
- Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and CPR certification.
