Responsibilities of a Hospice Aide / CNA

• Report to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, and work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Clinical Supervisor
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, ambulation, and light housekeeping
• Prepare and serve light meals, assist with feeding, and ensure a safe environment
• Support patient mental alertness and emotional well-being
• Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team
• Practice infection control and document visits accurately
• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities

Candidate Requirements

• Compassionate, empathetic, and flexible
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Minimum six months of patient care experience preferred
• Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and CPR certification
