Job summary

Envision Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care across Pierce County, WA. This full-time role supports patients in homes, assisted living and facilities under RN supervision, following the hospice plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, feeding assistance and timely reporting of changes. Requires WA CNA certification, BLS, and a valid license; 1+ year hospice/home health

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing.
• Active BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required.
• Proficient with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
• Aid with feeding and hydration, monitoring intake as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the care team.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Follow care plans and instructions to meet patient needs.
• Offer respite care by supporting family caregivers.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Pierce County, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour + Benefits

Join Our Hospice Care Team

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care throughout Pierce County. Care is delivered in a variety of settings, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA supports the hospice plan of care and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Hourly compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (based on direct hospice/home health experience)

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required
• Proficient with EMR systems and healthcare technologies
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and work independently within scope of practice
