Job summary

Envision Hospice in Kitsap County, WA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. This full-time role supports patients in private homes and facilities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following the hospice plan of care.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, feeding, and comfort, document changes, and provide compassionate companionship to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing.
• Active BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare related experience required.
• Proficient with EMR systems and healthcare technologies.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
• Aid with feeding and hydration, monitoring intake as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition to the care team.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
• Follow individualized care plans and instructions to meet needs.
• Offer respite care by providing coverage to family caregivers.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and policies.

Compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hospice care throughout Kitsap County. Care is delivered in a variety of settings, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA supports the hospice plan of care and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Hourly compensation: $24.00 – $27.00/hour (based on direct hospice/home health experience)
