Optimal Care is seeking a Hospice Aide/Homemaker to provide compassionate, in-home care for patients. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and daily activities while coordinating with nurses and the care team to preserve dignity and comfort.
You will work in patients’ homes and facilities across Grand Rapids, with daily travel within the service area. Candidates must have a Nurse Aide certificate and complete required training hours.

As a Hospice Aide/Homemaker, you'll provide hands-on support that helps patients maintain their quality of life while remaining in the place they call home. Through assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility, you'll help ensure each patient receives the care, comfort, and respect they deserve.
This role is ideal for a caring professional who finds purpose in building meaningful connections and serving others with empathy and compassion. You'll develop trusting relationships with patients and families while working closely with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support each patient's unique needs. Every visit is an opportunity to provide reassurance, preserve dignity, and make a lasting impact during an important stage of the patient's journey.

Main Service Area: Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Jenison, surrounding
This role is a high travel position and requires daily travel within the service area to provide care to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes
Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekend On-Call Rotation
$20 - $24 USD
