Job summary

Roze Room Hospice of the Valley in Ventura, CA seeks a Director of Patient Care Services (RN) to lead the hospice clinical team across Ventura County and surrounding communities. This executive role oversees clinical management, compliance, staff development, and delivery of patient- and family-centered care.

The DPCS will supervise nurses, managers, and on-call staff, drive quality initiatives, and collaborate with the Administrator to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
• Minimum 5 years healthcare, with at least 3 years in hospice/home health leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership and oversight of hospice operations.
• Supervise clinical managers, nurses, and on-call staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, accreditation standards, and policies.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop clinical staff.
• Promote patient advocacy and exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with Administrator and interdisciplinary team to meet goals.
