Job summary

Brighton Hospice, a CHAP-certified hospice serving the Decatur area, seeks an energetic Hospice Care Consultant to expand connections with physicians, hospitals, and community partners. The role combines healthcare sales with strategic marketing to improve access to hospice services and patient care.

You will develop relationships with referral sources, drive marketing efforts, and work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation and valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
• Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization.
• Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing.
• Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Suncrest Hospice markets.
