VitalCaring is seeking a Hospice Clinical Branch Director to lead day-to-day operations while maintaining a patient-centered care focus. You will guide clinical teams, oversee performance, and ensure adherence to quality standards in our Mississippi branch.

This role emphasizes compassionate leadership, operational excellence, and community collaboration, with a focus on sustaining trust, improving outcomes, and supporting staff growth through hands-on leadership and accountability.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required).
• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare operations.
• Strong understanding of clinical quality, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Experience leading teams with focus on engagement, retention, and development.
• Ability to manage operations while keeping patient care at the center of decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, financials, and performance with a long-term mindset.
• Monitor key indicators like quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and team stability.
• Ensure the branch operates efficiently while never compromising care.
• Recognize that growth is the result of doing the right things consistently.
• Set the tone for a patient-first culture where dignity, communication, and experience matter.
• Partner closely with clinical leaders to maintain strong outcomes, compliance, and survey readiness.
• Build and develop a team that reflects the community you serve; coach leaders and clinicians.
• Represent VitalCaring as a trusted partner in the community; establish relationships with providers.
