Job summary

Ascend Hospice is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director in the Kansas/Olathe area to oversee nursing operations and staff development. The role collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Executive Director to ensure care meets current standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include supervision backup, management of key services, QA/PI reporting, and supporting Regional Managers. RN license and hospice/homecare experience required; CHPN a plus.

Qualifications

• State RN license required
• Hospice & Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) certification a plus
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• Hospice or homecare experience required
• Strong administrative, communication and coordination skills

• Ensures that all reporting (including QAPI) are turned in as required by policy and procedure,




• Position exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving professional, administrative and supervisory problems within assigned areas,




• Support intake department




• Assist with monthly clinical invoices and other managerial duties.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Professional Experience:
