Full‑time | Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician

We are looking for a committed and compassionate physician to join our expanding palliative care team in Traverse City, Michigan. This full‑time position follows a 7‑on 7‑off schedule, providing meaningful time off and lifestyle balance. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and at the hospice.

Position Duties / Highlights

• • 7‑On/7‑Off model
• • Inpatient Palliative Medicine
  • Lead a high‑acuity consult service
  • Supported by two APPs working four 10‑hour shifts per week
  • Independent management of weekend consults (solo on‑call)
• • Outpatient Clinic Support
  • Supervise an outpatient palliative clinic staffed by three APPs and a licensed clinical social worker
  • Clinic located on Munson’s medical campus
• • Hospice Call
  • Provide call coverage for Munson Hospice Care during service weeks
  • Lead hospice interdisciplinary meetings on Wednesdays during on‑service week (8 am‑10:30 am)

Standard Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in Michigan
• EHR: Oracle Health
