Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate care to patients at home, collaborating with the hospice team to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The role emphasizes dignity in final days and support for families in a caring home environment.

Qualified candidates are CNAs or have completed nurse aide training with CPR certification. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow within a supportive, inclusive team.

Formación

• Must be a CNA or have completed a state nurse aide training program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• In states where licensure is not required, candidates must meet one of the following: licensed/certified aide or nurse aide training with 24 months continuous employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as part of the hospice team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Help patients approach their final days with joy, peace, and dignity.
• Support families and caregivers to improve day-to-day in the home setting.
