Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment with infection-control practices.
• Respect patient/cultural beliefs, maintain HIPAA compliance.

Working closely under the supervision of a registered nurse, the hospice aide helps with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure patients feel comfortable, safe, and supported. In addition to providing physical care, the hospice aide offers emotional comfort and companionship to both patients and their families.
