Job summary

Providence is seeking a per diem/on-call Hospice Aide to care for patients in Spokane County. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support therapeutic exercises under the supervision of an RN in home or hospice settings.

The position requires completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant course, a Washington Nursing Assistant Certification, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and at least 1 year of home health/hospice experience in a clinical or home care

Qualifications

CNA course or equivalent training completed.
Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License obtained upon hire.
Possess a valid driver license and auto insurance as required.
At least 1 year of home health/hospice experience as a nurse's aide or related role.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living per plan of care supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises and basic housekeeping to support comfort and safety in the home.
Follow the written plan of care and document observations as required by the RN.
