Job summary

St Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home-based care team in Jefferson City, MO. You will deliver 1:1 personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, helping patients maintain dignity and comfort in their own homes.

Full-time schedule 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating weekends; valid Missouri CNA certification, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required. Travel will be throughout the day to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate 1:1 care to patients in their homes under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record and report patient status and changes to the care team.

As a Hospice Aide (CNA), you’ll be an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support patients with personal care and daily living activities, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and the highest possible quality of life at the end of life.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice

• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
