Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Nixa, MO is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our home-based care team. You will perform hands-on personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, promoting comfort, dignity, and safety for patients at the end of life in their homes.

This full-time position requires travel to patient homes, valid CNA certification, and a clean driving record. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in MO.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Provide personal care including bathing and hygiene.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Travel to patient homes and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on personal care in patients' homes under RN supervision.
• Observe and document vital signs and patient condition.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Support daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Communicate changes to the interprofessional team promptly.

As a Hospice Aide (CNA), you’ll be an essential part of our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support patients with personal care and daily living activities, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and the highest possible quality of life at the end of life.

Qualifications

Hospice Aide (CNA) Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
