Job summary

Mission Hospice and Home Care seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide to provide personal care to patients in San Mateo County, with occasional coverage to San Ramon. Schedule is 5 days per week, 7:30am–3:30pm. Must have a California HHA license and current driver’s license with adequate auto insurance.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, bed positioning, and prescribed exercises, in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.
• Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California.
• A valid California Driver’s License and auto insurance if driving a car.

We are currently seeking a Hospice Aideto provide personal care services to our hospice patients.

Schedule:

5 days per week; 7:30am - 3:30pm

Location:

San Mateo County with occasional coverage to San Ramon

*MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE*

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed.
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation.
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.

Education/Experience:

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program. HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current certification to practice as a Home Health Aide in the State of California.
• Current California Driver’s License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.

Pay Range:

$26.30 - $31.00 hourly
