Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Aide to provide compassionate care to patients at home, supporting families and the hospice team. You will focus on meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting comfort and dignity in end-of-life care.

Certified Nursing Assistant preferred and CPR certification required. We offer flexible scheduling and a supportive, family‑oriented culture with strong compensation and benefits to eligible team members.

Hospice Aide Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required (AL, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), applicants must meet one of the following:
  • They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
  • They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months
• Current CPR certification required.
