Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough, a member of Empath Health, seeks an Admissions Registered Nurse to join our Hillsborough County team. This RN will assess eligibility for the Network of Care and guide patients and families through the admission process in hospitals and in the field.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License.
• Minimum six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care.
• Complete admission process based on care program specifics and patient needs.
• Travel across Hillsborough County and service area to hospitals and in the field.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient and family support.
