Job summary

Ennoble Care is hiring a Full-Time Admissions Nurse to access patients in the Arlington County, VA region and surrounding areas. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Admission Nurse works under the general direction of the Director of Nursing, providing skilled nursing assessments, planning, and care to maximize comfort and health for patients and families.

Responsibilities include hospice admission assessment, addressing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs,

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensed RN in Virginia.
• Experience in hospice, home health, or related nursing.
• Reliable automobile, valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for hospice admission criteria.
• Assess physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs with families and IDG.
• Coordinate with attending physician, IDG, and agencies to plan and deliver care.
• Document per protocol and maintain up-to-date patient records.
