McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is a recognized distributor and fabricator of hose products with 17 locations across North America. The role supports multiple shop areas, fabricating hoses, gaskets, and mechanical seals while following lean and safety practices.

You will assist in shipping, receiving, and basic equipment operation to ensure smooth production flow. The position emphasizes hands-on shop duties, use of measuring tools, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills expected.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in gasket, hose, mechanical seal and conveyor belting areas.
• Count inventory for cycle counts and maintain stock.
• Support lean activities and safety regulations.
• Operate gasket presses, circle and punch presses, and basic cutting tools.
• Assist in hose area and hydro/hydraulic hose work.
• Assist in mechanical seal disassembly and packing, and ship items.
• Operate forklift upon certification and use tape measure regularly.
