Job summary

Hose Master, LLC, a family-owned and operated leader in metal hose products, seeks a Prepper to measure, cut, and crimp hose to exact customer specs in our Sparks, NV facility. You will trim braid, verify lengths, and support the team across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Good basic math skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately & convert measurement to decimals

Responsibilities

• Inspects braid for damage
• Sets saw and track for cutting
• Measures, cuts and crimps hose length to customer specifications
• Crimps & stamps/etches ferrules
• Fits crimp collars on
• Verifies cut-length calculations
• Trims braid
• Checks bins
• Reads and understands Travelers /Job Orders and tolerance chart
• Reacts to change effectively and handles other essential tasks as assigned
• Helps inspection pull hoses, material handlers hand braid, or cleans area whenever necessary
