Job summary

Hose Master LLC, a family-owned manufacturer with US-based production, is seeking a Prepper to measure, cut, and crimp hose to customer specifications at our Reno, NV facility. You will inspect braid for damage, set saws for cutting, and verify length calculations to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include trimming braid, stamping ferrules, and assisting with material handling. Must lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, read a tape measure, and cross-train across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Good basic math skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately & convert measurement to decimals.

Responsibilities

• Inspects braid for damage
• Sets saw and track for cutting
• Measures, cuts and crimps hose length to customer specifications
• Crimps & stamps/etches ferrules
• Fits crimp collars on
• Verifies cut-length calculations
• Trims braid
• Checks bins
• Reads and understands Travelers /Job Orders and tolerance chart
• Reacts to change effectively and handles other essential tasks as assigned
• Helps inspection pull hoses, material handlers hand braid, or cleans area whenever necessary
