Job summary

Monroechamber in Kaukauna, WI is hiring for a hands-on Hose Assembly role on the 1st shift. You will assemble hoses and related components, read customer drawings, and work with crimpers, saws, slitters, and small presses to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years general warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings.
• Understanding of job sequencing and deadlines.

Position Title: Hose Assembly Wage: $17.00 - $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities

• Assemble hoses, belts, clamps and other products to customer specifications
• Use crimpers, saws, slitters, small presses and hand tools
• Follow blueprints, drawings and written work instructions
• Pressure test and inspect for quality
• Perform daily machine and equipment inspections
• Assemble large industrial hoses and clamp assemblies (hoses can be 30–50 lb and up to 8 feet)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-3 years general warehouse or manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of customer drawings and industry standards
• Understanding of job sequencing and deadline's requirements
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
