Job summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a qualified Horticulture/Landscaping Instructor to provide vocational instruction to students in a secure correctional facility. The instructor will teach horticulture, plant propagation, landscaping, grounds maintenance, workplace safety, and employment-readiness skills through classroom and hands-on training.

The ideal candidate will deliver a state-approved curriculum to classes up to 25 students, develop engaging lessons, track progress, and maintain a safe learning

Qualifications

• State-approved horticulture/landscaping license or instructor certification.
• Experience in horticulture or landscaping.
• Strong teaching and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete required 40-hour pre-service training.
