Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications to build an active pool of qualified Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part‑time) positions. Instructors may teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at six county centers across Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick.

Classes may be daytime, evening, online, or dual credit at local high schools. Adjunct faculty are expected to deliver instruction, plan and manage courses, and adhere to EPA and OSHA regulations while

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a horticulture-related discipline.
• Two years of work experience in horticulture or landscape-related position.
• Master's degree in horticulture-related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse student bodies per syllabi at various locations.
• Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction.
• Follow EPA and OSHA regulations for the program.
• Participate in college functions as needed.
• Apply teaching practices that support program and college improvement.
