Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Horizontal Directional Drill Locator for a top client in the Phoenix area. The position is in Phoenix, AZ, full-time with pay of $34-$38 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include locating the drill head, communicating with the operator, reviewing bore plans and verifying 811 markings. The role requires outdoor work, CDL preferred and OSHA 10 is a plus; DOT/background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of HDD locating experience or more
• Familiar with DigiTrak, Subsite or similar locating systems
• Ability to interpret pitch, depth, signal strength and interference
• Strong knowledge of utility crossings and damage prevention
• OSHA 10 preferred
• CDL preferred; Class A CDL receives priority
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to work outdoors and perform physical construction duties

• Stop work and elevate unexpected utility conflicts or unsafe conditions
• Drive and support transport of crew vehicles and equipment as authorized

Final candidates will complete a paid practical field evaluation.

Employment is conditional upon applicable MVR, background, drug-screen and DOT requirements.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
