MaxMed Healthcare, in partnership with ReadiForce Government Solutions LLC, seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The PTA will deliver personal rehabilitation services under the direction of a physical therapist for a diverse patient population.

The position requires an associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program, current BLS, and an active PTA license or credential, plus at least one

Competenze

• Associate degree from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of PTA experience within the last two years.
• Current, full, active PTA license or PTA credential per APTA guidance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Mansioni

• Carry out corrective exercise and treatment programs under the supervision of a PT.
• Instruct patients in wheelchair, crutch, brace, and prosthetic device use.
• Assist with traction, modalities, and therapeutic procedures as directed.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment to the PT.
• Collaborate with PT staff to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Provide care to diverse patient diagnoses and functional levels.
