Job summary

ADP is seeking a Produce Buyer in Honolulu to source, negotiate, purchase, and price produce and related products while meeting margin and quality targets. You will manage supplier relationships and coordinate with operations, warehouse, and sales teams to maintain inventory levels and product quality.

The role requires 2–4 years in procurement, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and knowledge of FSMA standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in procurement, produce sourcing, or related field.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of FSMA regulations and vendor compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value while maintaining margins.
• Purchase produce following company policies (local, organic, seasonal, quantities).
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
• Enter and update PLUs, new products, and price changes in POS systems.
• Price produce to achieve margin and sales goals while maintaining a competitive image.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and warehouse teams to forecast needs.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyze supplier performance.
