A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Pharmacy Technician / Order Entry in Honolulu, HI. In this full-time role, you'll ensure accurate medication order triage and data entry while supporting long-term care and senior living communities. Responsibilities include entering medication orders, conducting calculations, resolving claims, and providing customer service. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective communication.
• Hawaii Pharmacy Technician/Trainee License required.
• PTCB Certification to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system.
• Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosage tasks.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with medication preparation under supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed.

Requirements

Hawaii Pharmacy Technician/Trainee License - REQUIRED

As a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician you will:

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosage and conversion tasks.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; perform follow-up actions in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance in processing.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims; generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company values and policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed by management.
