Job summary

Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa in Honolulu, HI is seeking a friendly bartender/bar server to provide beverages and food service to guests. You will mix, garnish, and serve drinks, assist other servers, and act as lounge cashier.

The role requires 18+, cash handling, POS experience, and flexible hours, including nights and weekends. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior hospitality/service experience is a plus. Join us and contribute to guest satisfaction in a vibrant island setting.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years old or older.
High school diploma preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prepare and serve drinks.
Cash handling and POS experience.
Able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight.
Responsible alcohol service certification (if required).

Responsibilities

Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis, stocking beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
Responsible for stock, garnishes, and perishables to ensure product quality.
Greets guests, takes orders, and presents drinks.
Inputs orders into a POS, creates checks, and balances all beverages served.
Receives cash, makes change, verifies charges, and balances cash drawers.
Locks up and stores beverage items, deposits cash drops, and secures the bank.
Complies with attendance rules and is available to work regular shifts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
