Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of science is required.
• Experience coordinating laboratory safety and compliance is required.
• Experience in a research laboratory is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement all research, teaching, and extension projects in the Honey Bee Lab.
• Train staff, students, and volunteers in safety practices and SOPs.
• Maintain equipment, safety records, and PCard transactions.
• Serve as primary PCard holder and oversee hourly staff.
• Assist in budget planning and facility coordination.
