Honda Technician

CMA is seeking a motivated Honda Technician to join our growing service team. What You'll Do

• Perform vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns and visible defects
• Test-drive vehicles to evaluate steering, brakes, transmission, and engine performance
• Diagnose and complete basic mechanical repairs and adjustments
• Install and repair vehicle accessories and equipment as needed
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards
• Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing tools safely and effectively
• Inspect vehicle surfaces for chips, scratches, and other cosmetic concerns
• Install customer-requested accessories and optional equipment
• Assist with minor and major mechanical repairs under supervision and training
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures at all times

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, with every other Saturday. Closed Sundays.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of automotive or related mechanical experience preferred
• Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to safely operate power and hand tools
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the dealership
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test

Preferred Experience

• Automotive Technology education or training
• Previous dealership experience
• Entry-level technician experience with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Interest in pursuing manufacturer training and certification opportunities
