Job summary

Clawson Honda in Fresno, CA is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles, manage repair orders from start to finish, and communicate effectively with Advisors, Managers, and Dispatch.

Candidate must have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and be able to work on foreign, domestic, and hybrid vehicles. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive technician work.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Ability to work in tight spaces.
• Dexterity to use hand tools.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods.
• Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Description

Candidates will be responsible for inspecting and diagnosing vehicle malfunctions. Honda technicians will be responsible for the installation of parts and making sure they work correctly by doing the “Road Test”. Our technicians will need to have the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely manner. Technicians will also be responsible for managing repair orders from start to finish. To be able to complete repair orders, technicians will need to be able to communicate effectively with Advisors, Managers, and Dispatch to be able to complete repair orders.
