Job summary

Smart Honda of Des Moines is hiring Service Technicians to join our team in a family‑oriented dealership setting. We offer a five‑day work week, competitive benefits, and opportunities for long‑term career growth within Gurley Leep Automotive Family.

You'll diagnose and repair vehicle issues, use diagnostic tools, and perform service repairs to dealer and manufacturer standards, while collaborating with Service Advisors to communicate needs and recommendations.

Qualifications

• One year experience as automotive technician preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
• Complete repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and A/C systems.
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations with Service Advisors.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
